An almost identical impression was issued in 1982 with a different ISBN.

Strictly speaking not a British edition, this was probably produced for export - it is unpriced. In his Tolkien bibliography, Wayne G. Hammond states that the 1982 impression is Canadian, but some of the copies seen appear to have been sold in Germany. Copies may have been exported to a number of countries.
